So I am one week late on these pictures, but here are some from my change in St. Michaels in Maryland. The place is a cute little town with some great jewelry stores. We are now back in St. Michaels and I need to resist purchasing anymore jewelry.

Here is a picture of my friend Carla and I at St. Michaels after our shopping trip.

Some accessory pictures:

I will have to post a picture of Annapolis soon it is so beautiful with great boutiques.

I'm On A Boat

Posted by Cathy at 10:50 AM 3 comments
HELLO!
I know it has been awhile since I blogged, but I just started my internship with American Cruise Lines. The people here are great, the staff is a total of 14 people not including managers and the captain.

We work 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week. It is a lot of hard work and it is HOT! So, obviously I have not had time to get dressed and taken a picture since I only been in my uniform or pajamas. I will be sure to take a picture soon though. I was only able to pack my bare necessities in a medium sized duffel bag, so I don't really have that much to wear but I will definitely try my best.
This is how close the planes are to us while we were training on the boat at The Ship Yard.
These are some of the girls I work with, all ten of us live together. I don't know why my hair is being weird and my face ugh. I was taking them out to have their first Philly Cheesesteak before we left for port.
We just left from the port of Havre De Grace, MD. It was so beautiful, I wish I was able to go out and sight see but I was working all day.

Until Next Time

Feeling Nautical

Posted by Cathy at 7:51 AM 5 comments
As most of you know I am leaving on TUESDAY for my internship with American Cruise Lines. I will sailing up and down the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac Bay (I can't wait for lobster fest). It's going to be hard being on a ship for 8 weeks working 12-14 hour days but I think I can make it through. I have been thinking about this more and more as it is quickly approaching which would explain my attire!
I am wearing my oatmeal sailor shorts from Express. These shorts are made from linen so they are extra comfortable. For those who do not know me, I always wear long shirts or tanks. Because the sailor short is so unique with their buttons I tucked my Pink/White tunic in! Which brings me to the stripes of my shirt.

Accessories? Why yes! I am wearing a flower ball I got at the J. Crew outlet for only $15 on our way back from the beach. The bracelet I am wearing is a thrifted gold chain with a colorful satin cloth running through the rings. I am wearing my shell watch from White House Black Market, and through in some gladiator sandals I bought from Express for $8 with my discount (they are currently 50%).
Have a good weekend on my way to enjoy some sushi and help my sister plan her September Wedding and hopefully, one more before I ship off!

Shoedazzle

Posted by Cathy at 5:48 PM 3 comments
I forgot to bring my camera on my trip to Penn State. I am here moving up to my new apartment before I leave for my internship. So, I am going to have to result in my finds. Today's find? SHOEDAZZLE! www.shoedazzle.com is an amazing website co founded by Kim Kardashian.

It is essentially a shoe club. You pay a monthly fee of $39.95 and that includes a pair of shoes, plus the cost of shipping and handling. When you register, they make you fill out a survey to understand what kinds of colors and styles you would like. Each month the five stylists including Kim Kardashian picks a shoe for your showroom. You get a choice of five pairs of shoes to choose from for them to send to you.

If you decide that you do not want to purchase any shoes that month just pause it between the 1st and the 5th of the month . You just have to remember to pause it or you will be credited an extra shoe and they will deduct money from your credit card. They have a great variety of shoes and the quality is great.

Here is my showroom this month what should I choose?
Claudette, Boulevard, Next
Eliza, Amrita

Personally, I think I am in love with Claudette and Boulevard.

If you want to JOIN SHOEDAZZLE. Post your email and I will send you a personal invitation to the club.

New PB & J Dress!

Posted by Cathy at 11:23 PM 4 comments
So, I have found a new favorite store. It is PB & J Boutique. Their line of clothing is best described as Casual Clothing , but I would like to also add CUTE!
The make of the dress is Mystree from PB & J Boutique and can be found on page 2! The dress is amazing, it is zipped up and can zip down all the way. The ruffles follow the line of the zipper as well as the neck line of the dress. There is also a drawstring in the middle of the dress that really shows off my figure. It is so comfortable, the drawstring waist is not too tight but gives a great illusion of a hour glass body. Another great attribute to the dress is the pockets. It gives it a very casual look but when I paired it with a pair of peep toe pumps I am ready to tackle my day and strut my stuff everywhere I go.
Because the dress is a shade in-between green and black I wanted to make it a bohemian style by adding some dark rich colors to really make it pop. I added this cloth style bracelet I found at a consignment store for only $2 and my necklace is a hand me down from my sister from who knows where.

If anyone is interested in their clothing go to their website located at the right of my page and enter the PROMO CODE PENN FOR 20% OFF. They are extremely nice and helpful so don't be afraid to email them. I would like to thank Erica for sending me this dress to review. The sweater and shirts are so unique and can be worn so many different ways. BRAVO!

Happy Memorial Day

Posted by Cathy at 8:47 AM 2 comments
Okay, So I am a day late, but HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! Unfortunately, I worked all weekend and the holiday and my next day is not until Thursday. I can't wait to go to the beach with my boyfriend! It will be great to have some quality time before I leave for my internship on the cruise ship.

Being that I had to work, yet another day, I wanted to wear something comfortable and something that would keep me cool. I opted for a maxi dress. This one I got at Express, the color and pattern is so beautiful. Don't be fooled by the length, it is comfortable and cool and not too heavy on. I decided to curl my hair and comb it out to give it more of an exotic look for some reason. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.
If you are looking for a maxi dress yourself, Express (www.express.com) is having a sale on their maxi dresses at 30% off their original price of 59.50! Also, AX PARIS USA (www.axparisusa.com) has a beautiful selection of maxi dresses and they have a promo code for 20% off: the code is PENNSTATE. Their dresses are so cheap and the quality and feel is great plus that extra 20% is so helpful. I am currently waiting on the stuff I bought with the discount, I can't wait to try them on and review!
It was so hot and I was feeling silly. So this is me on a regular basis making dumb remarks and dumb faces.
